Maintenance and Repair
Due to the high incidence of metal wear of components, casued by the wear and breakage of components by the commodity being mined, hardfacing (wear facing) (overlay welding) and general repair welding is the predominant welding activity. All welding accessories related to the welder and the full spectrum of welding consumables i.e. Electrodes, wires, rods, silver solders etc. for mild steel, high tensile steel, stainless steel, nickel alloys, copper & it's alloys, aluminium and hardfacing alloys, are used on the various and specific metal applications.
